Testing The Bonds of Friendship

About the Book

Vinu, I Am Getting Married is a fun filled roller coaster ride through love, friendship, college days, laughter and reality. This enjoyable journey and confrontation between the inner angel and the demonic one is bound to remind you the best days of your life.

Vineet is an average guy who hates taking decisions in life, never likes to take control of life and has never thought of any goals. He accepts whatever comes his way without a fuss. But one phone call from Mallika changes everything. That one call triggers a series of events which brings him face to face with the biggest crises of his life. Like always, he is looking for answers but not digging deep within. His inner voices are trying hard to influence him. Will he be able to arrive at a decision, confront the crises and act in time, or will he accept the fate once again?

The most important thread of the story is friendship – how various situations bring in different people in the life of Vineet and how the bonding becomes strong with them because of some outrageous events in past college life. But will this friendship stand the test of time?

It is a Professional Indian written fiction. However, it still takes you back in your college/enginering day. I could relate this reel life to my real life from the word ‘go’.

Book appealed to me for two reasons: firstly it was very handy to carry. Secondly, liked the cover of the book…very traditional…

Book discusses about the college life, days spent at the hostel, love, friendship, etc. The novel takes the readers back to their college days, churning the memories with vivid details of friendship.

It takes us back to our own college days…rewinding the adventurous life we had, the crushes, bunking of lectures, etc..one cannot deny but to think that they were the best years of our life….

Thanks for the enjoyable reading….Looking forward to the next book…:)

A friend told me about this book Vinu, I am getting married and started reading it. I was really left wondering that Author had done a amazing job of narrating same story in present & past but the transition between them was seamless. AFter first few chapters I was called on for some important work but I couldnt leave the book before completing it. Due to family committments I couldnt complete it in a record time but I did finish it in 2 days. The story made me laugh, made me feel pity towards the lead character, took me back to my college time, and also encouraged to take road trips. Truly a fun filled roller coaster……

Its a movie material. Hope someone could present this to whole world in just three hour shows.

A well written book with the best coordination between present and past. Difficult to leave the book before finishing it of 🙂

I would say that this novel has something which relates vineet’s character to many young generation of college .
The confusion to choose his career, the dilemma after getting admission at new college, new place and new people. These all situations are very near and touching to most of the people falling in age-group of leading character, vineet and hence the reason that this story keeps you and your brain attached with it until u finish it off.
The most innovative characters are angel and the devil which keeps on talking with vinu in his confusing situations .Each one of us has always something running in our brain,we keep on talking, questioning or reasoning with our self but here the same thing is very beautifully modified and displayed through these characters by the writer.
It describes each stage and relation in one’s life very keenly and smartly…the father& mother, college friends,parties,love,break-ups and all apart the realization of being in love .
While reading it ,a reader will surely see himself/herself connected with at least one situation narrated in story. And that’s what the beauty of writer is all about.
Likewise for me ,personally ,I could realize many scenes relating my real life and am sure each one will. And its feel better when one see that he/she is not alone who encounters such situation in life ,there are many others.
I wish Mr.Vineet Mishra a great congratulations on his very first and successful release of novel and best of luck for his next plot…….
