Nepal Book Festival 2011

The Kathmandu Jatra or the Nepal Book Fest, going on in Patan, is the first of its kind in the country. International writers – William Dalrymple, Mohammed Hanif and Patrick French – and 60 Nepali writers have promised to attend the function. There will also be many Nepali traditional writers and English writers.

The less-known world of regional language writers will get a good platform for their works and voices. The country’s rich heritage and folklore are represented in such works.
