Jaipur Lights Up For Literary Fest

Gearing up for its fifth annual edition, the Jaipur Literature Festival will light up the city from January 21-25 . Nobel Prize winner Wole Soyinka will be a major attraction, with a winner of the Samuel Johnson Prize, two Booker winners and five winners of the Pulitzer prize for literature, and other prominent authors and writers gracing the function.

Noted writer William Dalrymple, one of the festival directors, is all excited about the happenings of the fest. There will be readings, seminars, lectures, debates as well as cultural and festive performances.

The Kite Festival in Jaipur and other north Indian cities is coming to a close, but it will be an added attraction for the participants.
